Life 10 is comprised of a multi-part sequence of puzzles, each part indexed by the corresponding natural number. The solution to each part incorporates some unusual reference to the sequence number of that part of the puzzle.

Life 10 - 1 presents a suggested mapping of the counting numbers. The solution is the correct representation of 2 within that mapping paradigm.

Life 10 - 00 presents a representation of 2 using a different kind of map. Find the corresponding representation of 3.

Life 10 - 333 presents a representation of 3 using yet another kind of map. What would be the corresponding representation of 4?

Life 10 - 4our has a date in history and two additional clues, one of which is in the HTML source code. The clues point to a man-made disaster. The solution is a 5-letter word in ALL CAPS, corresponding to part of the proper name of the disaster site.

Life 10 - LENIN has two clues in the HTML source suggesting we are looking for yet another geographic placename associated with a nuclear accident. There are several WikiPedia articles chronicling nuclear radiation accidents. The one you are looking for occured in a location where those present had no idea what kind of material they were handling. But it was strange and pretty.

Life 10 - Goiania just has one remark: the next number?

Life 10 - 7 The clue makes it pretty obvious what the solution should be for the eighth part.
Life 10 - 88888888 The clue contains the German word for fourteen: vierzehn. When incrementing that, take care of how the German ü is rendered in American English letters.

Life 10 - fuenfzehn has the clue 'yiwu' which is Chinese. It happens to be the name of a city, but that's not the reference you are looking for. You want a 'yiwu' that can be incremented by one.

Life 11

Life 11 - NOTE: NATO briefing (14:13 PM): locate the odd.

The image contains a 16x13 matrix of 4-digit numbers. All of them except one begin with the digit 0. All but two of them end in an even digit. The digit 7 never appears in the third position of any entry in the table. 14:13 PM is an odd time.

After a long spell with no progress, the AntiRiddle Team offered a hint that the numbers in the matrix are wavelengths of light in nanometers. Coloring in the entries with values in the visible spectrum may lead to the long-sought solution. It appears that only the three primary colors are required.

One of the three color areas in the matrix features an interesting color corresponding to a wavelength of 555 nm. This is the color that subectively appears brightest to the human eye, and is the reference point for the unit of luminosity known as the candela. It is not yet known whether this discovery is part of the solution.

After another long spell of dithering around with the color patches, several intrepid puzzle solvers began comparing them to the flags of NATO nations. Eventually this line of investigation paid off. One of the color patches corresponds to the flag of a non-NATO country. That's the odd one out.

'1413' appears in the table of numbers at R3C6. The only other odd entry is '0143' at R13C16. But that's a red herring (no pun intended). Figure out which non-NATO country is represented by a flag with blue, white, and red stripes.

The image has a shoe and the word 'BACK' on it. Perhaps it means 'step back' (in time).

The text is a series of numbers followed by numbers in German. If we use the classic a=1, b=2... we get the following text:

There are two more hints in the source page: one at the end of the first part, and another one at the very end of the html. The second hint suggests the solution is a scientific term.

The words are all titles from past riddles, and the numbers in German are an index into the captions. The five resultant values yield an anagram that recalls a famous philosopher back in time. The hints in the HTML source suggest the answer is the means through which the 'duty' was accomplished. The solution is one word, lower case, but it's in Latin! Think botanical.

We have an image, a short title, and some purposefully mistyped text in here.

Only the text and source are useful here. The image and title are only really misleading. Read the text carefully, and the hint in the source. The important part of the hint is 'functionning'. On the forums, another hint has been given:
'Fn might be a little too far'. This means that 'functionning' does not refer to the Fn key, but rather to the Function keys (typically F1 to F12).

Look at the text again. Some words are mistyped. These four words are the important part, the rest is just noise. You can google for help on what function keys do, and even if you think you know your way around them, go ahead and google. You most likely do not know them all well enough to solve this riddle.

The answer is in lowercase and is a mix of letters and numbers.

Look for 'Function keys' on google, and you should find a list of what function keys usually do on Windows. You can associate them with the mistyped words. For example, 'hlp' means 'help', and almost everyone knows that this is the F1 key.

Finally a complete riddle! We get a title, an image, some text and one more file to work with. Everything is relevant, with the title containing most of the hints and information.

This riddle is quite tricky, as it requires you to do two things that you have never done before. The first is that the answer ends with .php and not .html. The second is that you'll need to find a file that ends with .txt, which, apparently, is hinted to with the 'Textual' in the title. Once you know this, the riddle is quite easy. Otherwise, it is really hard and time consuming.

Once you have the text file, figure out the value of 'x', calculate the answer, convert it to the correct format, and you're done. Pretty easy, eh?

You will need the text, title and image to find 'x'. You will know when you calculate the right answer, as it is a pretty significant number.

Note: The answer is in capital letters, and ends in .php.

Look at the title. It is not 'Life 17' but 'Life XVII'. The answer is in roman numerals.

To get 'x', use the second word in the title (proof), and the text hinting at alcohol, and apply it to the image. From wikipedia:'Alcoholic proof is a measure of how much ethanol is in an alcoholic beverage, and is approximately twice the percentage of alcohol by volume'.

Once again, we're only working with an image and the title. Fortunately, there is text in this one. It's still not clear, but it's a start. It goes like this:
'O fuge Iabrochium, sanguis meus! Ille recurvis
Unguibus, estque avidis dentibus ille minax.'
It's a fragment from one of several Latin translations of The Jabberworky by Lewis Carroll. It is only loosely connected to the answer.

To solve this one, you need a good monitor and a specific calibration. Lower your contrast, or if you have an LCD screen, look at it from an angle. Otherwise, you can NOT solve this one (unless you get really, really lucky with your image manipulation.) You'll know it when you'll find it.

It is not a date, as there are actually 4 numbers. It does not follow the usual 1=A,2=B... pattern either. Each number does link to a letter though.

This one is actually in two parts. The first one has you analyzing an image named "unicode.jpg". What you are looking for is shadows subtly printed over the image. You don't see the full character, but what you see is enough to guess what it is. Then you figure what unicode is.

The second part has you looking at a little animated gif. It seems to link that accentuated character to the symbol shown previously. You might need to look at languages other than english to find that accent (French, among others, uses it). Then you simply proceed as before.

Words in the image can be upside-down, and they can also be mirrored. Most of these words refer to a recent military conflict. Ignore them. Some other words, however, have more of a lexical link between them. Find out what that link is.

The text implies that you should look for the last word of that family as an answer. This is slightly misleading though. There are many words missing from that family, but only a few of them concern zoology, and only one fits with both zoology and the image on the shirt. Find that word.

The text is the description of the event that you must find. It was a hurricane (implied by the level 5 current) and it has a name. That name is the answer. The one we are looking for is the fourth of that year. The text also implies that it is not a recent event.

There were two other hurricanes with this one. Three hurricanes at the same time is a rare occurance. It happened once in the region mentionned, and only six more times in the Atlantic.

The references to Alex and the orange clock effectively refers to the movie "A Clockwork Orange", which brings more references to Beethoven, in case you did not get the title.

Basically, what you have to do is translate the slashes and backslashes (count them) to numbers and type those numbers in the address bar. This will lead you to different websites. You will then need to find an acronym which will be the correct answer.

It's not really a word, but rather two words. If you still can't solve it, you better read about acronyms right now to make sure you do not confuse it with an anagram or something of that nature.

The title in this one is useless and can be misleading. The image is also completly irrelevant, which leaves us only with the text and the page source. A hint can be found in the page source, as to what some numbers might represent.

The important part in this one is the 'patriarchal city'. By itself, it won't get you any closer to the answer. The remaining two pairs of numbers (41, 29 and -667, 1453) each hold enough information to get you to what you seek. Don't forget to always use lowercase in this game.

The Keanu reference implies that the answer is linked to a movie that Keanu Reeves starred in.

The first pair refers to the location of Istanbul, which is the city we are looking for. However, it used to be called something else. The second pair refers to the date which mark the creation and the fall of the patriarchal city. This is what the hint 'time flies' in the source refers to.

The title indicates that the ones and zeroes are not binary computer data. Find another type of code that uses only two values to transmit data. The image represents a telegraph. In the source code, there is a hint toward what type of code you might want to use to translate this sequence.

You should use Google to find a translator, or the correct code and translate it manually.

Riddle one is, of course, quite easy. There are many ways to solve it, and none of them include deciphering that gibberish.

This site serves as an helper to solve the really cool game Antiriddle. Direct answers won't be posted, unless we do not understand the answer, or if the puzzle is otherwise rather boring.

If you've never tried a site like Antiriddle before, you should start by doing their tutorial. They will tell you a few interesting tricks to get started. Basically, you can find hints in four places: The sources, the image, the text below it, and the page title. Some are quite misleading, while some are so obvious you might not even think about it.

This place was made with a single goal in mind: to make the Antiriddle experience as good and as entertaining as it can be. With this in mind, here are a few more tricks to help you along your journey.

First, if you are not already using a good browser, get one now. We recommend Firefox (follow the link in the sidebar to the right). The tips and keyboard shortcuts we give will all be for this browser in Windows, even though they will likely work in every decent browser out there.

Second, here are a few shortcuts you will need:

For the best experience when playing this game, you should not try to do everything on your own.
